Learning Resources

A study library organised by programme, module and topic.

Materials that support structured study — not a collection of unrelated files. This page describes how the library is organised. Its holdings open to participants when the secure campus is released.

Status: structure ready, holdings to be published

The College is preparing its own lecture notes, reading lists and ministry templates. Resources will be published here as faculty complete and approve them; participant-only material stays behind the student sign-in that the campus will provide.

The PLC Digital Library

The library holds material the College is entitled to share. It will never host copyrighted textbooks. Where a book is required reading, the library points participants to a legitimate source rather than reproducing it.

  • PLC-produced material

Lecture notes, study guides, ministry templates and papers written for the College.

  • Open-access theological resources

Scholarship published under licences that permit free academic use.

  • Public-domain works

Historic theological and pastoral texts that are free of copyright restriction.

  • Approved external links

Links to reputable institutions and journals, held as references rather than copies.

  • Reading lists and bibliographies

Module reading, pointing participants to works they obtain through legitimate sellers or libraries.

Access and bandwidth

Some material will be open to everyone; module material belongs to the cohort studying it. Each file will show its type and size before it is opened, audio alternatives will be offered where a video exists, and notes will be downloadable so a participant on an expensive or unstable connection is not disadvantaged.

While the library is being built

The College publishes its writing openly in PLC Insights, and each programme page sets out the module outline that the resources will follow.
